Sambro Lighthouse 250 Birthday Celebrations 2008

Sambro Lighthouse, the oldest operating lighthouse in the Americas, is 250 years old in 2008.

NSLPS is cooperating with the Mainland South Heritage Society on a weekend of celebrations in the village of Sambro, Friday, August 15 - Sunday August 17. There will also be celebrations in Halifax at The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in October.
